About
This project is a 3 country study linking relation between flooding and health issues.
- Study sites：China (a rural catchment in Guangzhou), Sri Lanka (urban catchment in Colombo) and Thailand (Bangkok)
- Main tasks and objective: Hydrological processes and flood simulation combine with water quality analysis under climate change and human activities impact, economic damage and impact analysis, formulate the plat form.
- Methodology: flood event simulation, hydrological model (HEC HMS) –hydrodynamic model (flood model- Flow 2D) –water quality Model (HSPF)-downscaling- impact analysis (economic & social )
